Happy Constitution Day!

Hey, all you wonderful people, I just wanted to wish you a happy Constitution Day!

On this day, 220 years ago, the Constitution of the United States was signed by the delegates attending the convention in Philadelphia.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


What powerful words! We truly are blessed, fortunate, privileged even, to live in a country where we can partake of "the Blessings of Liberty".

Not to get preachy on you, but what a solemn and important responsibility we all have to do our part to make sure each one of us, along with our children and grandchildren, our friends and our loved ones, enjoys these blessings forever. We all have the ability to stand up for what we know is right, and the beautiful thing is we all can do so in unique ways.

I love you, dear family! Enjoy this day that prepared the stage for us to live the life we live and to enjoy the gifts our Heavenly Father has poured upon our heads!

Thanks for the reminder, Brent...I was still busy celebrating Mexican Independence Day! I LOOOOVE the preamble, but I cannot seem to read it without singing the School House Rock song. :)

Thanks Brent, I love this country and every thing that the founding Fathers ment it to be. I amso torn with all the mediocre platitudes of those desiring to be Pres. of this great nation. Help!
