Happy Constitution Day!
Hey, all you wonderful people, I just wanted to wish you a happy Constitution Day!
On this day, 220 years ago, the Constitution of the United States was signed by the delegates attending the convention in Philadelphia.
What powerful words! We truly are blessed, fortunate, privileged even, to live in a country where we can partake of "the Blessings of Liberty".
Not to get preachy on you, but what a solemn and important responsibility we all have to do our part to make sure each one of us, along with our children and grandchildren, our friends and our loved ones, enjoys these blessings forever. We all have the ability to stand up for what we know is right, and the beautiful thing is we all can do so in unique ways.
I love you, dear family! Enjoy this day that prepared the stage for us to live the life we live and to enjoy the gifts our Heavenly Father has poured upon our heads!

Let The Hunting Season Begin!
Who you think we are......
Who we really are.....haha!
Yes dear family, it is that time of the year again. If you are thinking that it seems a little early for hunting season that's because Matt decided to get into Bow hunting season this year. And I am proud to report that last night together we tracked and hunted down our first deer of the season.
I know I joke all the time about this being TOTALLY redneck, but I actually had a really good time getting all dressed up and everything. I could have gone without the whole gutting part, but they say that all the fun really starts after you let that first arrow or bullet fly. The funny thing was that for dinner that night the only thing I could muscle down was rice cakes cause they were dry and crispy....nothing that resembled in the slightest the horror that is gutting a deer. For more fun pictures and details, head over to our family site: www.postums.blogspot.com.
I am so proud of you Matt. Killing any animal with a bow and arrow is EXTREMELY difficult and you did it! What an amazing accomplishment Matt. I am so glad I got to be apart of it with you!

Elders Lindbergh and Ley. They are the elders that taught Amy and Mike.

Before we leave to go to the airport to get Mike, I just wanted to say that we are thankful for his service and that he had a successful mission. We are excited to have him home for a while. He is going to Utah and going to BYU in January.
